For many writers, especially first-time authors, the writing process can be daunting. From supporting the story ideation and writing process to editing to formatting the finished book, most people need support in the writing and publishing process.
With more than two dozen contemporary romance and cozy mystery novels under my belt, I can help you take your story from an idea to a finished book.

EBOOK COVER DESIGN
$75 - Ebook Format Only
Original book cover design for a fiction or non-fiction ebook. Includes one finished design chosen from 2-3 concept proposals.
Author must provide book title and subtitle, tagline (if required) HEX, RGB, or Pantone codes for any specific color requests, author name graphic, artwork, logo, or other design treatment to be included, and 3-5 links to inspiration sources (book cover styles to emulate in the design).
Turnaround time is 30 days unless otherwise negotiated.
What you'll receive: A finished PDF paperback cover and a PNG format ebook cover.
PAPERBACK BOOK COVER DESIGN
$125 - Paperback Cover Design
Original book cover design for a fiction or non-fiction paperback. Includes one finished design chosen from 2-3 concept proposals. Author must provide book title and subtitle, tagline (if required) HEX, RGB, or Pantone codes for any specific color requests, author name graphic, artwork, logo, or other design treatment to be included, and 3-5 links to inspiration sources (book cover styles to emulate in the design). Turnaround time is 30 days unless otherwise negotiated.
In addition, the author must provide the number of complete pages in the final edited book, the type of paper being used (white, off-white, etc.), and the desired final finished book size, such as 5.5X8.25 or 6X9, etc., and the blurb for the back cover.

EBOOK FORMATTING
$95 - Ebook Novel or Nonfiction Content Format Only
Your ebook will be formatted professionally and you will be provided with finished files, ready to publish. You will have the option to choose from a range of formatting styles. Up to 3 graphics, including the title page graphic, are included in this package.
The author must provide the title page artwork, and finished book content file (edited and including headings for each chapter and any back matter) in MS Word, Google Docs, or Apple Pages format.
Turnaround time is 30 days unless otherwise negotiated.
What you'll receive: A finished ebook file in the format of your choice (including Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook, Kobo, Apple Books, and generic ebook format), ready to publish.
Add-on Options:
Paperback format - $25 (in addition to the ebook formatting price)
Additional images - $10 per graphic or image to be included in the book format
Recipe Book, Journal, or Workbook Formatting - pricing available upon request (please send inquiry)
STORY / CONTENT EDITING
$20 per 1,000 words ($50 minimum)
The story or content editing process typically starts with a comprehensive review of the manuscript to identify any issues with the plot, character development, pacing, and overall structure.
I will provide the writer with detailed feedback on these areas, including suggestions for improvements, and will work with the writer to help them refine their story.
In addition to helping writers improve the content of their story, I will address any grammar, punctuation, or spelling errors, and check for consistency in style and tone throughout the manuscript, ensuring that the writing is polished and professional.
Finally, the editor may also provide suggestions for further revisions, such as cutting unnecessary scenes, adding additional character development, or adjusting the pacing of the story to create a more compelling and engaging read.

STORY CONCEPT, PLOT, AND TIMELINE DEVELOPMENT CONSULTATION

Some authors need support developing the plot, storyline, or timeline of their novel to ensure they are creating a story that compels the reader.
As an experienced author and ghostwriter, I provide the sounding board for your novel outline, helping you solidify concepts, clean up timelines, and ensure your plot points hit all the expected beats for the genre.
The author must provide the story concept document, including primary and secondary character biographies or descriptions, and a story overview with major plot points and story arcs for the primary and secondary characters.
